My Story
Founder & Executive Director, House of Hope (WSC), Inc.
Aggie McLaughlin is the heart behind House of Hope, a nonprofit organization she founded in 2009 to support women in crisis. Through faith-based coaching, life skills development, and job readiness training, Aggie empowers women to break the cycle of self-abuse and rebuild their lives with confidence and purpose.
Born and raised in Cleveland, Ohio, Aggie’s journey reflects her deep commitment to personal growth and community transformation. After earning her GED, she went on to study Business Management at Columbus State Community College and ministry at the Charles H. Mason Institute. She is an ordained Elder and Evangelist, a licensed minister in the State of Ohio, and holds a certification in Biblical Counseling from Breakthrough Reconciliation Ministries.
Aggie currently serves as a pastor at Liberation Church in Cleveland and is the owner of A Hand-Up Counseling and Development Training, LLC. Her professional experience includes roles with Frontline Services as a Program Intake Specialist, and with The City Mission at Laura’s Home for women and children in crisis. She also served as a Chaplain, ministering in jails and prisons across Ohio.
As the Executive Director of House of Hope (Women Seeking Change, Inc.), Aggie leads with passion, faith, and an unshakable belief in second chances. Her mission is to help women re-enter society, restore their sense of purpose, and realize their God-given potential.
Aggie’s work is grounded in a simple but powerful belief: “You can do all things through Christ who strengthens you”(Philippians 4:13).
